Disclaimer: I received the Blossom Vox Box from Influenster for review purposes. All opinions are my own.
Ok so if you know me in real life, you know I was totally geeking out when I received my first box of products in the Blossom Vox Box from Influenster. I religiously read blogs where they review items and have always wanted to do it, and now I finally get the chance!
While everything in the box looks awesome and I can’t wait to try them, having a newborn at home means I have to try things out gradually. First up, though, was Clairol’s Hair Food Root Cleansing Shampoo. Because showers are few and far between when I’m alone with the girls, feeling and looking clean is so important to me having a productive day! I couldn’t wait to take a relaxing shower and try this out!
I have naturally oily hair, the kind that you can fry eggs on if I don’t wash it every morning. I almost never switch shampoos once I find one that works because more often than not my hair ends up not looking or feeling clean. In our budget lifestyle, buying expensive shampoo from the salon is just not in the cards, so I have to make do with whatever “over-the-counter” brand I can fall in love with. With that said, I was very anxious to try Hair Food and truthfully wasn’t expecting a whole lot.
Oh.Em.Gee you guys! Run, don’t walk, to Target and get this stuff! It’s amazing!!! Not only does it smell great while shampooing (think subtle strawberry fields with a hint of ginger!) but my hair has never looked this clean with a product I can purchase at Target! Along with being clean and smelling great, my hair looks shiny and healthy, an added bonus I wasn’t expecting!
The best part is that it’s only $9.99 at Target! That means you are getting salon quality for a fraction of the price, and let’s face it, you’re probably going to Target anyway (I mean, I know I am!) In fact, I love it so much I think I’m going to pick up the conditioner tonight since I ran out of my old standby in the shower today!
